  • Ring In Inclusivity with Doorbells

Our intention isn't litigious. We ask local business and public venues to consider adding an inexpensive, easy to install wireless doorbell to the exterior of their location by a door, so that customers with disabilities that can not open the door and enter independently may request assistance in an empowering way.

  • Accessibility Standards

Your generosity helps our activism and storytelling efforts to reach the media. We hope to change the disability standards nationally to create a more inclusive world. With the generous support of gifts, sponsorships, board, and volunteer team.

Together, we will Rise As One!

  • United Challenges

Your generosity helps our friends with mobile challenges receive life-changing surgeries to improve their quality of life. Those with accessibility and disability challenges may face mental health and trauma in addition to their medical and physical challenges.

We're grateful you help us Rise As One.

Founding Story

"I started RISE because I wanted to help people who have disabilities like mine be able to participate more in their community," founder Jonathan.

Inspired by Jonathan's frustration and inability to be a patron of restaurants, retail stores, and non-ADA accessible commercial properties throughout Broward County and beyond.

This cause is important because it helps open real doors to opportunities like shopping independently.

Small quality of life enhancements increase our ability for inclusiveness and community. It makes a huge difference in the lives of people with mobility challenges. Help us feel heard and included in our communities - please consider sharing our stories with your sphere of influence, friends, family, and community.

"I hope that I continue to receive support from businesses like yours so I can also make a difference one door at a time," Jonathan.

How can I support RISEAsOne as a business?

IF YOU ARE A BUSINESS

Speak to a manager or to your businesses’ corporate office to request approval to add a Wireless Doorbell and a Ring to Request Assistance sign to an entrance at your location.

Order a sign and wireless doorbell from Amazon or other corporate approved retailer. Typically available for less than $35 USD.

Once you receive the order, place the bell and sign in a visible location by an entrance. Both items come with peel and stick backing for easy installation
